By accessing or using theparadox.online (the "Site") or engaging services delivered by Ramakant Kaushik trading as The Paradox ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the Site or engage our services. These Terms apply to all visitors, leads, newsletter subscribers, and clients.

You may use this Site for lawful purposes only. You agree not to: use the Site in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations; attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site or its infrastructure; scrape, copy, or redistribute content from this Site without written permission; use automated tools to extract data from the Site. We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access for any user who violates these terms.

All service engagements begin with a free AI audit call and a written scope agreement or proposal. Work begins only after you have reviewed and accepted the proposal in writing (email acceptance is sufficient). Service descriptions on this Site are for informational purposes only. The specific scope, timeline, deliverables, and pricing of any engagement are defined exclusively in the written proposal accepted before work begins. We reserve the right to decline any engagement at our sole discretion, including after a free audit, without obligation to provide a reason.

Delivery timelines

Deployment timelines stated on this Site (e.g., "48-hour deployment") are targets based on standard engagements where all required access, credentials, and information are provided by the client promptly. Delays caused by missing client inputs extend the timeline proportionally.

Change requests

Requests to change the agreed scope after work has begun may affect timelines and pricing. Material scope changes require a written amendment agreed by both parties before additional work proceeds.

Client responsibilities

You are responsible for providing accurate information, granting necessary system access in a timely manner, and ensuring your use of any deployed AI system complies with the laws of your jurisdiction.

All prices are stated in USD unless otherwise agreed. Prices listed on the Site are indicative; final pricing is confirmed in the written proposal. Monthly retainer plans are billed on the same date each month. Annual plans are billed upfront for the full year at the time of agreement. Payments are processed via Stripe; by engaging a paid plan, you authorize recurring charges on the agreed billing cycle. Late payments (more than 7 days past due) may result in suspension of active AI systems until payment is received. We do not charge late fees, but we do suspend service to protect system integrity. All content on this Site — including text, design, graphics, code, brand assets, and the "The Paradox" name — is owned by Ramakant Kaushik and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission. Regarding client deliverables: upon full payment of all fees for a project or engagement, you own the custom code, workflows, and system documentation we deliver to you. We retain the right to use the project as a portfolio case study (with client permission) and to reuse non-proprietary architecture patterns in future client work. Any third-party tools, APIs, or platforms integrated into your system (Twilio, OpenAI, n8n, etc.) remain subject to their own licensing terms.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, The Paradox and Ramakant Kaushik shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of this Site or our services — including loss of revenue, loss of data, or business interruption. Our total liability for any claim arising from a service engagement shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to us in the 3-month period immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We do not guarantee that AI systems will be error-free, uninterrupted, or achieve specific business outcomes. We guarantee delivery of the system as specified in the agreed scope document.

Before initiating any formal legal proceeding, you agree to first contact us at rkaus@theparadox.online to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We commit to responding within 5 business days and making a genuine effort to reach a mutually acceptable resolution. If informal resolution fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or, where arbitration is not available, through the competent courts of the jurisdiction applicable to the service agreement.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. For clients in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, or Australia, any disputes will be resolved under mutually agreed jurisdiction as specified in the individual service agreement.

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. We will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance. Active clients will be notified of material changes by email.
